HE-ROSE : Unfolding the Stories of Unsung heroes

 

He-Rose is a cinematic art exhibit by Yinka Ogunlowo that brings to life the stories of overlooked Black and Brown heroes from around the world through expressive, impressionistic paintings created on vibrant African fabrics.

 

Each piece captures these historical figures not as static portraits, but in powerful moments of action, courage, intellect, resistance, and transformation — inviting viewers to experience history as something alive, emotional, and deeply human.

 

Through art, storytelling, and culture, He-Rose aims to educate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversations about legacy, identity, leadership, and the untold contributions that helped shape our world.
